School Principal / Lead Dance Teacher
Ami graduated from London Studio Centre in 2007, with a BA (Hons) in Theatre Dance, with an Upper Second Class Honours with specialism in Jazz Theatre Dance.
On graduation she toured the UK in The Jazz Dance Company and then went on to work professionally under the Management of Dancers Inc, working consistently mainly in the commercial sector and has worked with many prestigious choreographers/creative directors such as Kim Gavin and Diversity front man Ashley Banjo in a project for Disney XD.
In recent years, Ami has focused fully on teaching Dance and Performing Arts. She was the founder of A-Stars Dance, which she ran successfully for ten years teaching children age 4 – 21 years in the local area. The Theatre Academy is now entering its' seventh year and continues to go from strength to strength.
Ami also teaches at the prestigious Emil Dale Academy as part of the resident dance faculty, teaching Jazz and Tap on their BTEC, Foundation Diploma and BA(Hons) Course, which is accredited by the University of Bedfordshire.
Ami's passion for the Arts and years of teaching experience enable her to offer the highest standard of teaching and opportunities for the students at Stage-Stars.
Lead Singing Teacher
Miri Gellert is a graduate of Cambridge University where she was a choral scholar. She trained classically until graduating, whereupon she went on to the Royal Academy of Music to obtain a Postgraduate degree in Musical Theatre and the LRAM singing teaching diploma.
Miri has performed in operas, plays and musicals both on tour, in London and abroad for the past six years and now is overjoyed to be working in singing education six days a week.
She currently teaches solo and ensemble/choral singing at five schools and three synagogues with 90 pupils aged 4-84. She also conducts and guests conducts with various choirs. She is one of the senior singing teachers at the Emil Dale Academy where she teaches students on BA course in Musical Theatre.
Miri is fully-versed in the ABRSM exams, having obtained Grade 8 Distinction in piano, flute and singing.
Her students range from complete beginners to those training professionally at drama school.
She specialises in acting through song, refining vocal technique, generally building confidence and bringing happiness through singing and performing... !
Miri has worked at A-Stars since 2016 and it has become the highlight of her teaching week.
All of our Stage-Stars – be they primarily singers, dancers or actors – are now confident in delighting to crowds of Bedfordshire with three-part harmony.

Charlotte started dancing at the age of four learning street dance, jazz, musical theatre and contemporary. She took yearly ISTD exams up to silver standard. Charlotte trained at A-Stars from a young age and also attended the Suzi Earnshaw Theatre School in Barnet, London.
Charlotte has performed in many productions including High School Musical, Bugsy Malone, Fame, Footloose and Camp Rock.
She has also performed in the professional sector as a juvenile for First Family Pantomimes at the MK Theatre and also Magic Beans Productions at the Grove Theatre, Dunstable.
Charlotte completed a Level 3 Dance Diploma at Bedford College with Distinction. She has assisted at A-Stars Dance and Theatre Academy for seven years and also works as a freelance dance teacher, delivering dance, musical theatre and cheerleading classes in many schools in the local area.
